We need volunteers!
There are many jobs, both large and small.
We need hands to do them all!
Email us at BECAUSE@becauseconference.org with the subject of "Volunteer" and tell us what you are interested in helping with! Some specific needs are listed below; the list will continue to be updated as we get closer to the conference.
Committee Heads Needs:
Food Coordinator to coordinate the purchase, transport and serving of food at the conference. Additional volunteers will help with the onsite work.
Marketing/Outreach:
We need help with securing media coverage and getting the word out to organizations. If you would be willing to print out some fliers that we email you and pass them out at your next event, send us an email! If you have experience securing media coverage, let us know -- we could use your expertise!
Conference Prep and Setup:
During April, there will be a lot of final prep work for the conference including prepping registration materials, finishing signage, organizing materials and equipment to go to the site, setting up the site, etc.
During the Conference:
Everything takes a warm body, from welcoming people at registration, to setting up lunches, to monitoring sessions. If you are going to attend, consider volunteering as a great way to get to meet people and contribute to BECAUSE!
