Workshop Proposal
The BECAUSE Programming committee is looking for workshops, panels, and presentations on all aspects of bisexuality and allied and related topics, including, but not limited to (and in no particular order), transgender issues, spirituality, religion, politics, activism, gender, polyamory, sexual freedom, sex positivism, community building, kink, youth, elders, relationships, family, work, legalities, housing, size, culture, ability, access, education, labels, bis in the LGBT community, coming out for youth, at work, and as an adult, and anything related to bisexuality! There is a need for beginning AND advanced programs!
Workshops will be scheduled for Saturday, April 21. Workshop periods will be 1 hour and 15 minutes long. Rarely, but if needed, we will grant a program two periods. There are usually more workshops than we can fit in the schedule, but extremely popular programs may be asked to present twice.
Presenters will not be compensated for travel, housing, materials or any other expenses, and are required to register for the conference. Programing proposals must be submitted no later than March 15. An acknowledgement of the proposal (or idea) will be sent out as soon as possible after being received but does not guarantee a spot on the program. As programming proposals are processed, we will get back to you with any questions, suggestions, and concerns. After March 15, you will receive final information about scheduling.
If you have an idea for a workshop, but would like help in developing it, please email us with as detailed a description as you can. We would be happy to consult and help your idea come to fruition! Idea suggestions must be received no later than February 15, as they require more work.
however, you may print and fill out the attached Word document or .PDF file and mail it to:
