Programming will be available throughout the weekend including face painting, story time, games, art, and quiet/rest time. Note: All workshop programming outside of quiet/rest times will be available for youth up to the age of 13. The rest of the time childcare is for youth aged 0-11. All offerings will be in room 122 on the first floor of the Student Center.
Saturday, November 11th
#1 Face Painting! 10:50am-12:05pm Have you ever had face paint art? Would you like a blue, purple, and pink butterfly or rainbow? There will be many images to choose from!
#2 Queer Story Time (Suitable for all ages of book lovers) 1:50pm-3:05pm Join us for the reading of many colorful LGBT friendly children’s stories and more! We will engage our hearts and minds listening to stories that connect us to one another, our community, and the world.
Quiet/Rest Time 3:30-4:45pm During this time, children 0 to 11 years can enjoy a break/rest. You are welcome to bring a small pillow or blanket from home.
#3 Creation Time 5-6:15pm We've got some art supplies, science supplies, robotics, and more to share to create more beauty, love, wisdom, & laughter in the world! Sunday, November 12th
#4 My Bi+ Family 11:50am-1:05pm In this workshop, youth will be given craft supplies to create a picture of their family that they will get to take home. It will conclude with each person getting to share their family picture with the group. We will get to experience sharing our many different family structures in a safe and fun space!
#5 Quiet/Rest Time 2:40pm-3:55pm During this time, children 0 to 11 years can enjoy a break/rest. You are welcome to bring a small pillow or blanket from home.
#6 Face Paining! 4:10-5:25pm More face painting to color your child's fancy before the end of the conference!
TV & Free Time 5:45-7:30pm Cartoon time! Free time- doing what is most fun while waiting to be picked up.
