Keynote Speaker: Chong Moua

Chong Moua (or Ntxhoo Muas, in Hmong) is a Hmong Queer Woman living in the United States and mother of one.
She started her journey in community organizing and non-profit with SOY (Shades of Yellow) and has since been involved with local, state and national organizations. Chong is most passionate about building community, liberation and advancing economic sustainability for Queer Transgender Indigenous People of Color.
She is also a spoken word artist and speaker/facilitator focusing on the intersections of gender, sexuality, race, trauma and values-based living. She strives to share her voice as a first-generation survivor of war and a U.S.-created refugee. Chong is currently an events producer and founder of Faded Productions.
Chong will be giving this year's keynote address at 2:30 PM on Sunday, October 14.
