Neil Aasve (he/him) is the lead organizer founding The Visibility Impact Fund. He has been a bi+ activist since coming out as bisexual in 2007. He was a board member of the Bisexual Organizing Project in the Twin Cities, PAVES Nonprofit in Denver, and briefly worked as the Safe Schools Manager for One Colorado. He currently works as a nonprofit consultant for True Summit Consulting, and is a fierce advocate for public education.
Lauren B. Beach (they/them/she/her) is Assistant Professor within the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. They are also Interim Director of the Evaluation, Data Integration, and Technical Assistance Program within Northwestern’s Institute for Sexual and Gender Minority Health and Wellbeing. Scientifically, Dr. Beach investigates the epidemiology of chronic physical health conditions over the life course among diverse SGM populations and people with HIV. She also studies how multilevel health and identity related stigmas and resilience promoting factors affect chronic condition management and health outcomes of minoritized populations. Dr. Beach is active in community engaged, evidence informed advocacy efforts to promote bi+ health equity. They are a Leadership Council member of the Visibility Impact Fund. They are nationally active in bisexual health policy leadership circles and has spoken at the White House, CDC, and NIH to present recommendations for improving bisexual health. Erica Bryerwell (she/her/they/them) is a queer seminarian, vicar, and a candidate for ministry in the ELCA. Their background in education has made them passionate about protecting and making safer spaces for queer youth, especially in the church. She believes that the immensity of Divine Love and the vast creativity and diversity of Creation demand an ever-widening understanding of God and Church. Erica lives in Minnesota with her spouse and the beautiful chaos of their cat and puppy.
Jordan Dobrowski (she/her/they/them) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Provider with experience providing psychotherapy to youth and adults in both English and Spanish. She received her Master’s in Social Work with certificates in Trauma-Informed Care and Culturally Responsive Mental Healthcare for Immigrant Families from the University of Chicago in 2018. Jordan has also completed special training in crisis intervention, trauma-focused therapies (EMDR, IFS), psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, suicide postvention, eating disorders, and technology usage as it relates to mental health. She provides ketamine-assisted psychotherapy at Field Trip Health & Wellness, and also works with various other non-ordinary states of consciousness in her private practice, Willow & Leaf Counseling.
Camille Holthaus (she/her) has been organizing on behalf of the bi+ communities since 1990. She is a past chair of Bisexual Organizing Project and the BECAUSE Conference, participated in the 2015 Bi White House Policy Briefing and current serves on the leadership council of the Visibility Impact Fund, the first ever giving circle dedicated to the bi+ communities. She lives in Minnesota and recently began a blog, Bi Pan Fluid Queer Intersectional Organizing, the beginning of a program to provide leadership training for bi+ communities.
Brooke Lindley (she/her) is no stranger on talking about her identities as a Bisexual, Biracial, Intersex person and has been advocating for the LGBTQIA+ community for over a decade. By day, she trains organizations and businesses on how to have a more diverse and inclusive space, is Mental Health advocate, and works full time as a Development Coordinator for a Nonprofit Organization. By night, she is on the Board of Directors for the Bisexual Resource Center, Gamers Who Give Foundations and volunteers with JCI Kalamazoo.
Jessie Miller (she/her/he/him) is a badass bisexual activist who has been involved in bi+ activism for over 5 years. Jessie used to be on the board of BOP as well as the President of Bisexual Queer Alliance Chicago for three years. Jessie also founded the no longer operational LGBTQ Guard, a peer-run buddy system aimed at preventing hate crimes. In the past year, Jessie founded a national organization called BRAVE- Bi+ Resilience Alliance for Violence Eradication dedicated to ending the bi+ domestic violence epidemic. Otherwise, Jessie is currently pursuing his PhD in sociology at the University of Illinois at Chicago and works in bi+ research. In his (rare) free time, Jessie loves to spend time with friends, play board games, watch and rate movies, and express himself creatively.
Paula Neely (she/her) identifies as a cisgender, bisexual, solo poly female who practices ethical non-monogamy and has a history of blending theatre with social justice efforts. She is currently pursuing a Masters degree from Metro State University. Her research focus: “The Legacy of Racialized Trauma and Its Impact on the US Economy.
