Embracing Change: Rethinking Our Conference Theme in the Twin Cities

Due to the current climate in the Twin Cities, the BECAUSE team, with input from the BOP board, have decided to shift the focus of this year’s conference. Our original plan was to have a conference centered around the past, present, and future. While we still think that theme will be a great program to put together, this year no longer feels like the right time. In hopes of better aligning with our community’s needs, we will be putting together a program centered around safety, support, and unity. The BECAUSE chairs are working to shift things as quickly as we can and will be giving more information as the pieces come together. We hope many of you can still join us for this year’s BECAUSE, and we also understand if now doesn’t feel like the right time to attend. You always come first. Stay safe and stay strong.
